Examining Failed Prophecies, Inaccurate Discernment, Misinterpretation Of Prophetic Revelations & The Will Of God. (Part 2)

Examining Failed Prophecies, Inaccurate Discernment, Misinterpretation Of Prophetic Revelations & The Will Of God. (Part 2) 💢 Misinterpretation Of Prophetic Words, Revelations & Timing. It is possible to have a true prophetic revelation or word from God yet grossly misinterpreted & misunderstood by the recipient prophets/people of God. To rightly interpret prophecy, one must first of all know the interrelatedness of prophecy..."we know in part and prophesy in part" thus to see a fuller picture one must be able to relate and compare prophecy with prophecy, and this is one sure way of gaining keener insight, better discernment of God's mind and a proper spiritual interpretation in the prophetic. In dealing with the prophetic word, 2nd Peter 1:20 says " knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of it's own interpretation". "Its own"(idios in the greek) is the literal force of the word here, which the common english versio...

Examining Failed Prophecies, Inaccurate Discernment, Misinterpretation Of Prophetic Revelations & The Will Of God.

Examining Failed Prophecies, Inaccurate Discernment, Misinterpretation Of Prophetic Revelations & The Will Of God. (Part 1) In the wake of controversies stemming from conflicting & failed prophecies concerning our nation, a good number of people have developed a strong apathy to prophecy; a position which is worse than failure in prophetic discernment & accuracy, and even worse than susceptibility to false prophecies. It was appalling reading some brethren teaching the people of God to focus on scripture and forget/neglect prophecy, as though scripture itself teaches us to despise or keep closed ears to prophecy. Is it not awful to see how in trying to emphasise scripture, we have done so  to the denigration & outright denial of the place of prophecy in the new testament church? Yet scripture says not to despise prophecy, but to prove all things and hold fast to that which is right. How could one be emphasising scripture to the denigration/outright denial of wh...

Discerning False Ministers/Messengers.

Discerning False Ministers/Messengers. Many in christendom today, cringe on hearing the word 'false'. Many shudder when they hear a popular preacher they admire being labelled as a 'false teacher"; they apparently do not know that a very thin line exists between what is true and false & that he who brings/bears a false witness, is himself false, especially if he does so consistently. In 1st Corinthians 15, scripture clearly and unambiguously shows us what constitutes false witnesses/ministers. 1st Corinthians 15:14-15 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. ✍ Paul says if they witness or testify that God raised Christ when no such thing happened, then they are found 'false witnesses'. A false testimony/witness constitutes it's bearers false wit...

The Final Criterion: Love For His Appearing.

The Final Criterion: Love For His Appearing. The final test of the profession of our faith is love for the Lord's appearing. He that loves the Lord will love his appearing and long/look forward to it. He that loves not his appearing, does not love him no matter how much he or she professes love for the Lord. The mouth can verbosely worship and profess love for the Lord, while the heart has little or no place for him. The heart of man can be very deceitful; even our own hearts can deceive us. The heart can be very very subtle, covertly leading one on in vain worship. In Luke 12:45-46, we see the Lord Jesus(He who searches the hearts & reins) reveal that the servant who defers his Lord's coming in his heart, by resolving that the Lord delayeth his coming, is an evil servant.👇🏼 "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that serv...

The Father's House - The Place Of Our Eternal Inheritance ( 2 ).

Jesus in the days of his flesh & walk on earth, severally made mention of his Father/our Father who is in heaven. See a few examples in Matthew 5:16, 45, 48. Different portions of scripture in the old testament, reveals that heaven is God's dwelling place - See Deuteronomy 26:15; 2nd Chronicles 30:27; 1st Kings 8:30, 39. In the gospels, which represent a transition/bridge between the old and new testaments, we hear the son of God himself, who is the mediator of the new covenant, saying that heaven is God's throne 👇🏼 "But I say unto you, Do not swear at all; neither by heaven, because it is  the  throne of God" - Matthew 5:34. "He that swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him that sits upon it." - Matthew 23:22. This is consistent with what God had earlier spoken by the mouth of his prophet saying " heaven  is  my throne, and the earth  is  my footstool" - Isaiah 66:1. In John 14, Jesus speaks of the Father's house; ...

The Father's House - The Place Of Our Eternal Inheritance (1).

The Father's House - The Place Of Our Eternal Inheritance (1). When a baby is given birth to in a hospital, after being nursed for days, the baby is finally taken(brought)home by the parents - We are begotten again of God as sons, to be finally taken/brought home to the Father's house - 1st Peter 1:3-5 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." *The salvation ready to be revealed in the last time, in essence, is to be finally brought home into our inheritance and place as sons in the Father's house. At new birth God sends the Spirit of his son into our hearts/we receive the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry "Abba...

Ultimate Things In Bible Prophecy...An Introduction.

To a great extent, men love prophecy and love to be prophesied to. They love to hear someone tell them what will happen in the future & what the future holds for them; yet the very poor attitude of men even christians, to prophetic scriptures of truth which clearly show what the future holds, and the negligence of the Spirit of truth(the HolySpirit), whom Jesus said will show us things to come, exposes a great deal of what a very complex & confused creature man has become upon the earth. - John 16:13 & Revelation 1:1-3. What does man really want? Today even in christendom & in the name of Christ, man deliberately ignores the truth of scripture while vigorously & energetically pursuing lies that suit his vain religious fancy; forsaking the fountain of living waters & hewing for himself cisterns that cannot hold water. - Jeremiah 2:13. How in the name of christianity & many so called prophetic christian programs, are the ultimate things in bible prophecy, conc...

The Making/Constitution Of The Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ (Part 3)

In our last article of the series, we were able to scripturally identify who the enemies of the cross of Christ are, based on their characteristics as listed in Philippians 3:18-19.  They are surprisingly, people who work and walk in the field of christendom/christian profession and not the unbelieving world. The inspired apostle acknowledges them as workers but evil workers/workmen and also warns the saints in Philippi about their walk saying "f or many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping". We are being led of the Spirit of God in the scriptures of truth to consider another noteworthy thing concerning these enemies of the cross of Christ, which is👇🏼 The Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ Are Contrary To The Altar & Ministration Of The New Testament. According to scripture the altar we have in the new testament, is the cross of Christ, where the once and for all sacrifice of Christ was made to put an end to sin; an altar that wholly sep...

The Making Of Earthly Minded Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ Who Are Contrary To The Heavenly Calling, Inheritance, Destiny & Hope Of The Church. (Part 2)

Image
Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ.  In Philippians 3:18-19 scripture speaks of the enemies of the cross of Christ.  Now, this is a very subtle spiritual status & condition because scripture in revealing this condition, does not classify it as 'enmity against Christ' but against 'the cross of Christ'.  They are not people estranged to the christian profession, faith & walk; the apostle even acknowledges their walk therein; they are in the field of christian profession and walk so closely holding unto what approximates to truth such that those on the path of truth are warned to beware of them.  Scripture goes on to expose that their walk is not in the steps of the cross.  It is a walk that so resembles and approximates to the true walk of the christian that it takes the HolySpirit to reveal/expose it; the apostle as inspired by the HolySpirit thus reveals the contrast & weeps knowing that they walk in steps that eventually lead to destruction/damnat...

The Making Of Earthly Minded Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ Who Are Contrary To The Heavenly Calling, Inheritance, Destiny & Hope Of The Church. (Part 1)

Some say the church is not going to heaven citing Psalm 115:16..."the earth has God given to the sons of men"; Others vaguely say going to heaven is not the goal while some presumptuously say the church will go to heaven but will only spend 7 years and come back to eternally dwell on earth.  The fact there is so much confusion gathered around the eternal destiny of the church, her heavenly calling/priesthood & the heavenly sanctuary where Christ as a forerunner has gone in for her, is enough evidence that this truth is most vehemently being fought against by satan. The enemy's target in fighting against this truth, is to turn the church into an earthly institution/organisation; exchange her heavenly inheritance for an earthly, turn her heavenly citizenship into an earthly citizenship & constitute church saints earthly minded people who are ill-disposed or contrary to the cross of Christ and the separation from the world which it brings. Scripture in 1st Peter ch...

The Truth Of Eternal Salvation & The Falsehood Of OSAS.

The Truth Of Eternal Salvation & The Falsehood Of OSAS. The scriptural doctrine of eternal salvation is often misconstrued for what some call 'OSAS' (Once Saved Always Saved), which is a false and unscriptural doctrine. A very thin line exists between the two & it's a very subtle one; and it lies in the difference between trusting in salvation as a thing in itself received by the saved(a gift which cannot be lost), and trusting in the saviour himself as the author of eternal salvation. Eternal salvation is not an end reached in the believer, but an end realised & perfected in Christ for the believer, thus 1st Timothy 4:10 says "Christ is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe" & Hebrews 5:9 says "being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him". In 1st Timothy 1:1 we see that Jesus Christ is our hope(the hope of them that believe), and according to 1st Thessalonians 5:8 & P...

Who Owns The Church?

Image
Who Owns The Church?  The severity of the judgment coming to the church in these last times will be chiefly along the lines of the question of the ownership of the church...Who Owns The Church?  In the name of the Lord Jesus, on behalf of the HolyGhost sent down and on behalf of God who bought the church with the blood of his own, who owns the church?  This is a question every minister or preacher calling on the name of Jesus & running what is called "church" or assembly today upon the earth, will have to answer in these last times.  Sadly there are many doing ministry today, preaching & praying in the name of Jesus, but they are far from walking in the consciousness & reality of the ownership & lordship of Jesus over his church/people.  Note: The church/assembly is the church of God which he bought with the blood of his own & not your church. 👇🏼 "Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, wherein the Holy Spirit has se...

When An Open Door Is Nothing But A Trap & A Snare To The Soul.

Image
A Testimony Of How I Shut The Door On A Deal Of About $4m. Last August(1st August, 2021) i gave a  testimony of how God delivered me in 2019 from having anything to do with Hushpuppy, little did i know that exactly a year after that testimony, a bigger temptation was going to come. Indeed it came like a big open door, as on the 31st of July this year i got a call from someone who had viewed my business page on a certain website. His call opened a series of online & offline discussions & meetings with some foreign investor he linked me to. After two weeks of discussions & background checks, the foreign investor called to say he's confident to work with me. I'll try to make the story as succinct as possible. I had several meetings and site inspections with top realtors on ground, and on the third week, the foreign investor's representative travelled down to inspect the proposed project sites. However, after an entire month of discussions with this foreign in...

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall (Part 2).

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall  ( Part 2).   It is indeed amazing to see that in Ephesus where the apostle Paul says he had delivered the whole counsel of God, the church/assembly of God's people there had fallen, having left their first love. 👇🏼 Acts 20:17, 26-27 But from Miletus having sent to Ephesus, he called over  to him  the elders of the assembly. Wherefore I witness to you this day, that I am clean from the blood of all, for I have not shrunk from announcing to you all the whole counsel of God. Revelation 2:1 & 5 Unto the messenger of the assembly, in Ephesus, write:––These things, saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven lamps of gold....Remember, therefore, whence thou hast fallen, and repent, and do the first works; otherwise, I come unto thee, and will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou repent. In the Lord's revelation and presentation of himself to Ephesus, the fullness...

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall (Part 1).

Spiritual fall could be so subtle that it can become the state of a believer for years, without being detected or discerned.  It takes revelation in the presence of the Lord to expose this very subtle and sorry spiritual state as we see in the book of Revelation 2:1-5, in the Lord's letter to the assembly in Ephesus. Ephesus was fervent in spirit & zealous in good works; they had great spiritual virtues like patience/endurance, they had spiritual strength and stamina such that the Lord commended them for having laboured and borne for his name's sake, without fainting or growing weary; yet spiritually they had fallen. There was just one thing they lacked and that one thing in effect is everything, that one thing is like the tap root that bore the fruits the Lord had commended them for, thus if disconnected or cut off from, everyother thing was going to wane & die with time. That one thing is that they had left their first love; they had departed from the place of havi...
