Anything Like Patterns Of The Bloodline Affecting The Believer In Christ?
Listened to a preacher teaching that there is such a thing called "patterns of the bloodline"; he said that "a man doesn't move just because God blessed him, a man moves because he's able to break controlling influences. That's what gives principalities authority over people."
He went on to assert that God can speak to you but if your family has an evil bloodline pattern and you don't break it through consecration, even though God has spoken, it will never come to pass.
This implies that the word of God is impotent in the face of the so called bloodline patterns, and needs the help of a man rising to break it through his own consecration, for the word of God to be fulfilled.
Such teachings extraneous & alien to the teachings of the new testament/apostolic doctrine in scripture, are rife in present day christendom, due to a colossal failure in the understanding & apprehension of the centrality of the cross of Christ & what God has wrought for us in Christ.
None of the epistles of the apostles in the new testament has any such teaching as patterns of the bloodline.
Such a teaching of so called patterns of the bloodline that still affects the believer in Christ to the point of even giving principalities authority over the believer, implies that the blood of Christ was not efficacious enough to deal with it, so the believer still has to rise to break it/deliver himself from it. It's a grievous error and blasphemy as bad as apostatizing from the Christian faith to return to Judaism, for it counts the blood of the covenant wherewith we are sanctified, an unwholesome thing - Hebrews 10:29.
You mean the principalities & powers Jesus spoiled in his death, can be activated by a so called pattern of the bloodline, to have authority over the believer in Christ who is seated in the heavenlies far above principalities & powers?
It's either the preacher is right and scripture is wrong.
The last time I checked, my bible tells me in Colossians 2:14-15 that Christ blotted out/effaced the handwriting of ordinances which stood out against us, and contrary to us and has taken it all out of the way, having nailed it to the cross; having spoiled principalities and authorities, he made a show of them publicly, leading them in triumph by it.
The last time i checked my bible in Ephesians 2:12-15, it showed me my bloodline in Christ & it's influence/impact on me as a believer; how God has made me who was once a gentile and afar off, nigh by the blood of Christ. "For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of enclosure and bondage, having annulled the enmity in his flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man, making peace; and might reconcile both in one body to God by the cross, having by it slain the enmity"
If Christ in his death on the cross has broken down the middle wall of enclosure & bondage, then it's gross ignorance on the part of the professing believer to seek to break any so called patterns of the bloodline. It's unbelief in the finished works of Christ, an unbelief that stems from failure in the understanding and apprehension of the power of the cross.
