The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall (Part 2).

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall  ( Part 2).   It is indeed amazing to see that in Ephesus where the apostle Paul says he had delivered the whole counsel of God, the church/assembly of God's people there had fallen, having left their first love. 👇🏼 Acts 20:17, 26-27 But from Miletus having sent to Ephesus, he called over  to him  the elders of the assembly. Wherefore I witness to you this day, that I am clean from the blood of all, for I have not shrunk from announcing to you all the whole counsel of God. Revelation 2:1 & 5 Unto the messenger of the assembly, in Ephesus, write:––These things, saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven lamps of gold....Remember, therefore, whence thou hast fallen, and repent, and do the first works; otherwise, I come unto thee, and will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou repent. The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall (Part 1).

Spiritual fall could be so subtle that it can become the state of a believer for years, without being detected or discerned.  It takes revelation in the presence of the Lord to expose this very subtle and sorry spiritual state as we see in the book of Revelation 2:1-5, in the Lord's letter to the assembly in Ephesus. Ephesus was fervent in spirit & zealous in good works; they had great spiritual virtues like patience/endurance, they had spiritual strength and stamina such that the Lord commended them for having laboured and borne for his name's sake, without fainting or growing weary; yet spiritually they had fallen. There was just one thing they lacked and that one thing in effect is everything, that one thing is like the tap root that bore the fruits the Lord had commended them for, thus if disconnected or cut off from, everyother thing was going to wane & die with time. That one thing is that they had left their first love; they had departed from the place of havi

Heirship Of All Things In The Name Of Jesus.

All Things At The Command Of The Name Jesus. The name of Jesus is a name that goes with the inheritance of all things. In Hebrews 1:2, scripture says that in t hese last days, God has spoken to us in the person of his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; then goes on in verse 4 to say that the Son has been made so much better than the angels, as he has by reason of his heirship of all things, inherited a more excellent name than they. Note: These lines of scripture speak of the humanity of Christ who 1st Corinthians 15:47 calls "the second man". God appointed him heir of all things as a man; having taken up humanity for the suffering of death on the cross and being raised from the dead as the firstbegotten from the dead and head of a new creation/race of men. In touching his divinity, he has always been...the I AM(the self existent and ever existent/abiding one) & cannot be appointed to become something more or attain a high
