What Next?

Image
What Next? What next? A question we often ask after every step taken, after we're done with a stage/phase of things, or after an event we spent time planning for, comes to an end. More often it's a burden in our hearts, our mouths are too heavy to express; an emptiness and void in our soul we often feel, and seek to fill up with something. It comes in endless cycles and timeless seasons. We ask what next? And not long after what next has come, we still find ourselves asking what next? So often we ask what next, and even after we are told what next, we still find ourselves asking what next? We're like weary fishers by a sea shore in a dark night, waiting for the waves to bring choice fishes on our shores. In frayed nerves as frail mortals, all we can utter is what next? Our expectation grows wave after wave, and the inquiry in our hearts to see our dreams fulfilled, never ends. With each phase of accomplishment and fulfilment, comes the burdensome "what next

It Is A Cartel! By Solomon Ukpenevi

It is a cartel!  They meet and plan how to scam you. And they organise programs, invite themselves, prearrange how much to raise and the sharing formula. Sometimes they plan on what prophecies and prophetic actions to carry out to steer the people more for the scam. The host prophet will release certain information about rich  members who he feels are stingy to  the guest prophet.  And the deal is sealed when the guest begins to prophecy and stun the audience. And when you have been successfully scammed, you rise in the defence of your prophet. All hail Simon the sorcerer.

The Testimony Of Jesus (Part 2).

Relevance Of All Scriptures. 2 Timothy 3:15-17 "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." The relevance of all scripture as given by the inspiration of God, is in it's testimony of Jesus, as that which is able to make one wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is thus given by inspiration of God, and bears the testimony of Christ, to inspire the faith of Christ in the hearts of men and thus lead them to Christ. What about the historic and poetic books of scripture, like the chronicles and the psalms? Do they also testify of Christ? Luke 24:27 shows us Christ expounding unto the disciples he met enroute Emmaus

The Testimony Of Jesus (Part 1).

Revelation 1:1-2 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw." 19:10 "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, right from Genesis to Revelation; starting with the very making of man(the first Adam), who was constituted in the image of God and as a figure of him that was to come; to God's own prophecy of the coming seed of the woman bruising the head of the serpent, the entire testimony of scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, is the testimony of Jesus, and speaks of him a

Much Fuss About The Funke Funky Fables And Those Who Make Merchandise Of The Grace Of Christ.

Telling tales and fables is one of the marks of false ministrations, which do not establish people in the faith of Christ but lures them away from the truth. Scripture severally warns us against giving heed to fables; and one of such fables is called old wives fables(1 Timothy 4:7) A fable is simply a narrative intended to enforce myths or ideologies, as truth; any story told to excite wonder or put fear in the hearts of men. So often it is fictitious, false and cunningly devised. Concerning the true testimony of Jesus, Peter said we have not followed cunningly devised fables (2 Peter 1:16); then in the next chapter he went ahead to warn against false teachers, who will secretly bring in damnable heresies. Now, cunningly devised fables might not sound as grievous and terrible as damnable heresies, yet they are correlated, and are both trade marks of false ministers/teachers, who seek to make merchandise of the grace of Christ. It is pertinent to note that, fables are much more
