The Making/Constitution Of The Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ (Part 3)

In our last article of the series, we were able to scripturally identify who the enemies of the cross of Christ are, based on their characteristics as listed in Philippians 3:18-19.

They are surprisingly, people who work and walk in the field of christendom/christian profession and not the unbelieving world.
The inspired apostle acknowledges them as workers but evil workers/workmen and also warns the saints in Philippi about their walk saying "for many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping".

We are being led of the Spirit of God in the scriptures of truth to consider another noteworthy thing concerning these enemies of the cross of Christ, which is๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

The Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ Are Contrary To The Altar & Ministration Of The New Testament.

According to scripture the altar we have in the new testament, is the cross of Christ, where the once and for all sacrifice of Christ was made to put an end to sin; an altar that wholly separates & sanctifies us from, not just the secular world but also from the religious world/judaism with it's physical tabernacles, temples, camps and altars of wood or block and cement.๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

"We have an altar of which they have no right to eat who serve the tabernacle;
for of those beasts whose blood is carried as sacrifices for sin into the holy of holies by the high priest, of these the bodies are burned outside the camp. Wherefore also Jesus, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate: therefore let us go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach".
Hebrews 13:10-13

"God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."
Galatians 6:14

"And I when I came to you, brethren, came not in excellency of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God. For I did not judge it well to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and him crucified"
1st Corinthians 2:1-2

The altar which the cross of Christ represents is the altar of the sacrifice/offering of the one who was rejected by men(both the secular and religious world) but wholly accepted of God as well pleasing to the Father.
To be identified with the cross of Christ as a disciple/christian is to be identified with and partake of not just his sufferings but also his reproach.
The fellowship of the sufferings of Christ which the apostle spoke of in Philippians 3:10 is one core thing that the enemies of the cross which he mentioned later in vs 18, are opposed to; they can't preach the fellowship of his sufferings, they can't preach the cross lest they suffer persecution(see Galatians 6:12).

The altar of the cross of Christ is however, an altar which surpasses every altar which men could raise or erect in the old testament.
It is an altar with the ultimate sacrifice of the blood of sprinkling which speaks better things that even that of Abel who was the first man to offer a sacrifice acceptable to God and he himself, the first whose blood was shed...the blood of a righteous man which cried out to God for vengeance - Hebrews 11:4; 12:24 & Genesis 4:1-10.

Scripture shows that this is the altar we have come to in the new testament๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

"For ye have not come to the mount that might be touched and was all on fire, and to obscurity, and darkness, and tempest....but ye have come to mount Zion; and to the city of the living God, heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels, the universal gathering; and to the assembly of the firstborn who are registered in heaven; and to God, judge of all; and to the spirits of just men made perfect; and to Jesus, mediator of a new covenant; and to the blood of sprinkling, speaking better than Abel." Hebrews 12:18, 22-24.

We have come to this altar of the cross of Christ, the altar of the blood of sprinkling speaking better than that of Abel. We need not seek or look for another altar to connect to.
Infact to look for another is an insult and despite of the Spirit of grace and the blood of this new covenant wherewith we are separated/sanctified; it is like going back to Judaism, back to raising man-made altars(see Hebrews 10:29); litte wonder the apostle cried out saying God forbid that he should glory in any other save in the cross of Christ.

Sadly, organised/man made & man-led christianity which is full of the carryover of relics of judaism, is set against this altar of the cross of Christ & the fellowship of his sufferings.
Man made or man-led christianity/christian organisation is prevalent in this day and hour, thus many are sadly espoused to such a sorry religious system which has become a breeding ground for enmity against the cross, where men are trained, discipled and constituted enemies of the cross of Christ.

The leaders of such religious systems are themselves contrary and opposed to the cross and what it stands for, for it destroys the physical & virtual altars they build & emphasise to profit & gain a following of adherents whom they teach and command to attend/connect to their altars.

We have an altar which sets aside the physical & virtual religious altars which men have built and seek to have men connect to for their breakthrough.

If you're a believer in Christ and someone is telling you and even convincing you that you need an altar, that you need to connect to a certain altar of a certain preacher or a certain altar of prayer for God to hear you, for you to have your breakthrough and obtain results and testimonies, it's an open assault on your professed faith in Christ.

Don't tell me you could be so bereft and destitute of truth to believe such a vain religious crap; scripture says we have an altar and the sacrifice which speaks on this altar is the once and forever sacrifice of the precious blood of Christ...the blood of sprinkling which speaks better things than the blood of Abel.

You don't need to connect to anyother altar; you're a king and priest in the heavenly courts where Christ has gone in for us; appearing in the face of God for us therefore live & function in this consciousness, offer the incense of prayer in this awareness of your nearness and being in the very face/presence of God as fully represented in Christ. You can pray anytime and every where as one fully connected and plugged to the throne of Grace by reason of the altar & sacrifice of Christ, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. - See Hebrews 9:24 & 1st Timothy 2:8.

You don't need to sow any seed or make anyother sacrifice to connect to anyother altar, in order to connect to God and be heard of him.

Anyone preaching or seeking to draw your attention to another altar, anyone telling you that you need to connect to another altar, is an idolatrous preacher seeking to indulge you, take spoil of you and have you fellowship with his idolatrous worship.

In conclusion, take note of this๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
"We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding that we should know him that is true; and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Children, keep yourselves from idols." 1st John 5:20-21.
