The Making Of Earthly Minded Enemies Of The Cross Of Christ Who Are Contrary To The Heavenly Calling, Inheritance, Destiny & Hope Of The Church. (Part 1)

Some say the church is not going to heaven citing Psalm 115:16..."the earth has God given to the sons of men"; Others vaguely say going to heaven is not the goal while some presumptuously say the church will go to heaven but will only spend 7 years and come back to eternally dwell on earth.

The fact there is so much confusion gathered around the eternal destiny of the church, her heavenly calling/priesthood & the heavenly sanctuary where Christ as a forerunner has gone in for her, is enough evidence that this truth is most vehemently being fought against by satan.

The enemy's target in fighting against this truth, is to turn the church into an earthly institution/organisation; exchange her heavenly inheritance for an earthly, turn her heavenly citizenship into an earthly citizenship & constitute church saints earthly minded people who are ill-disposed or contrary to the cross of Christ and the separation from the world which it brings.

Scripture in 1st Peter chapter 1:3-4 opens up telling us that we are born again unto an inheritance reserved for us in heaven, and in the next chapter(2:11) it says whilst here on earth we are strangers, pilgrims/sojourners, then goes on to say that Christ has left us an example, pathway/track to follow/walk in his steps & it's the pathway of the cross leading to eternal/heavenly glory(2:21-24); Now, just incase we are in doubt or do not understand the track/pathway Christ has left for us to follow & where it leads to, the next chapter(3:22) says He is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, with angels, authorities and powers made subject to him.

Hebrews 6:18-20 says that as our forerunner and Highpriest, he has entered into that within the veil(the heavenly sanctuary) & this is the hope set before us.
Hebrews 12:1-2 also sets forth this pathway of the cross leading to heaven(the righthand of God's throne) as the race which lies before us, which we are to run with patient endurance.

In the light of all this, we see the utter confusion of those who speak of Christlikeness & conformity to the image of Christ on earth while despising the track/pathway of the cross which he walked in, to the throne in heaven, and which he left for us to follow.

How can one speak of christlikeness and yet consider the cross as nothing more than mere history and not a pathway/track which Christ has left for us to walk in?
How can one speak of the moral transformation/conformity to the image of Christ here on earth and yet despise the ultimate bodily transformation/taking up the image of the heavenly man at the appearing of Christ?

The ultimate purpose in the heart of the Father is not just conformity to the image of his Son Jesus Christ, but the bringing of many sons to glory.
Conformity of many brethren to the image of the firstborn amongst many brethren is for the ultimate purpose of bringing many sons to glory shores in the Father's house.

Ephesians 1:4-5 says that God has chosen us in Christ before the world's foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;  having marked us out beforehand for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

The phrase "the adoption as sons" as written in the text above.
It is "uihothesia" in the original greek; a presumed compound of uihos(son) and a derivative of tithēmi(to set, put, to place)

Thayer & Strong's definition of "uihothesia" is adoption, adoption as sons, the placing as a son/placement of sons.

The adoption of sons is the placement of sons in glory; many sons brought home to the glorious shores of the Father's house in heaven.

God has chosen us(the church) in Christ(his Son) before the foundation of the world, and by virtue of the new birth we are brought into the reality of the election and position of the church in Christ as chosen in Him before the foundation of the world; however the adoption of sons(the literal placement of sons in glory) is yet to be and that is what will go with the redemption of our vile, mortal bodies.
The Father at new birth has put in us the Spirit of his Son, the Spirit of adoption(the Spirit of the placement of sons), whereby we cry ABBA Father; earnestly longing and groaning for the literal adoption/placement of sonship.

Romans 8:15 & 23
"For ye have not received a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye have received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
And not only that , but even we ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we also groan in ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is the redemption of our body."

Lastly, 1st Corinthians 15:50 says flesh & blood cannot inherit(literally enter/posess) the kingdom of heaven, thus there must be a change/transformation & conformity to the heavenly image/body.
There must be a taking up of the heavenly image/body for a heavenly dwelling, habitation and function.

1st Corinthians 15:47-50
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
