Heirship Of All Things In The Name Of Jesus.

All Things At The Command Of The Name Jesus.

The name of Jesus is a name that goes with the inheritance of all things.

In Hebrews 1:2, scripture says that in these last days, God has spoken to us in the person of his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; then goes on in verse 4 to say that the Son has been made so much better than the angels, as he has by reason of his heirship of all things, inherited a more excellent name than they.

Note: These lines of scripture speak of the humanity of Christ who 1st Corinthians 15:47 calls "the second man".

God appointed him heir of all things as a man; having taken up humanity for the suffering of death on the cross and being raised from the dead as the firstbegotten from the dead and head of a new creation/race of men.

In touching his divinity, he has always been...the I AM(the self existent and ever existent/abiding one) & cannot be appointed to become something more or attain a higher status than he had always had.
You can't improve on divinity, you can't add to divinity to make it something more or something better.
The same writer of the Hebrews in touching the divinity of Jesus, says " Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever"(the ages to come - Hebrews 13:8) - the same sense in which Revelation 1:4 & 8, speaks of the Almighty God as "He who is, who was and who is to come".

Jesus appointed heir of all things & inheriting a name more excellent than the angels, is thus clearly on the ground of his humanity, and it is only on that ground that scripture in the book of Hebrews 1 makes comparisons between him and angels, showing how the man Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels, has now by reason of his resurrection and glorification at the righthand of God, become so much better than the angels of God. 1st Peter 3:22 says Jesus is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, with angels, authorities and powers made subject to him.

The name of Jesus goes with his heirship/inheritance of all things.
Just as men in willing their Inheritance, will it specifically to names of their heirs ie. names are written in a will to specify what portion/details of the inheritance belongs to each person whose name is listed/mentioned; the name of Jesus is the name to which the entire estate/inheritance in the vast expanse of God's creation/universe is willed to.

In mentioning the name of Jesus, everything is at stake; all things are at the command of the name of Jesus.

Philippians 2:9-11
Wherefore also, God, uplifted him far on high, and favoured him with the name which is above every name,–  In order that, in the name of Jesus, every knee should bow––of beings(things) in heaven, and on earth, and underground(the infernal regions),––And, every tongue, might openly confess––that Jesus Christ is, Lord, unto the glory of God the Father.

Hebrews 1:2, 4, 13-14 reads👇🏽

"At the end of these days has spoken to us in the person of the Son, whom he has established heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.
Taking a place by so much better than the angels, as he inherits a name more excellent than they.

But as to which of the angels said he ever, Sit at my right hand until I put thine enemies as footstool of thy feet? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out for service on account of those who are about to inherit salvation?"

God has never said to any angel at any time sit down....they stand, they don't ever get tired, they never run out of energy, never given to lethargy. Psalm 103:20 says angels excel in strength, hearkening unto the voice of God's word to do his bidding.

Just like waiters in a restaurant standing to take orders, the angels stand in the presence of God to take orders.

In Luke 1:19 the angel Gabriel introduces himself thus "I am Gabriel, who stand before God, and I have been sent to speak to thee, and to bring these glad tidings to thee."

He stands before God and as standing he is sent forth just as Hebrews 1:14 puts it: "to which of the angels said he ever, Sit at my right hand...are they not all serving spirits sent forth to serve?

Now in Hebrews 10:11-12 we can see how standing goes with service..."And every priest stands daily ministering(serving), and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
But *he*, having offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down in perpetuity at the right hand of God.
Here the contrast scripture sets forth is between the old levitcal priesthood and that of Christ, who as a Highpriest offered up Himself to take away sins once and for all, and sat down on the righthand of God. The priests of old stand daily serving and offering same sacrifices which can never take away sins but Christ by one sacrifice of himself took away sin once and for all, and sat down on the right hand of God.
