Where The Gospel Of Christ Is Veiled/Hid Till This Day.

"For Moses of old time had in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day."
Acts 15:21.

"But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away." 2nd Corinthians 3:15-16.

"But if our gospel is hid, it is hid to them who are lost: In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and we ourselves as only but your servants for Jesus' sake." 2nd Corinthians 4:3-5.

Where The Gospel Of Christ Is Veiled/Hid in the preaching of 'Moses'/Self even by those who profess to be ministers of the new testament/ministers of Christ.

The greatest tragedy in the new testament, is where the gospel of Christ is veiled/hid by men who profess to be ministers of the new testament, while carrying over the relics, shadows, curtains & trappings of the old into the new, to assert & establish their own authority as sitting in the sit/stead of Moses, building their own house/tabernacle & religious organisation according to their own mind/pattern. Such ministers preach themselves and also raise other ministers who preach them in every city where they have their branches. We often hear them preach "your pastor", "your man of God", "our man of God" etc.
Their emphasis & focus is on the vessel & not on God who is using the vessel. Like the scribes & pharisees, these ministers sit in the seat of Moses. - Matthew 23:2.

Moses whom God sent as a deliverer, was only but a type of Christ. Just as God sent Moses to be a deliverer to Isreal, to deliver & redeem Israel from bondage in Egypt, God sent his Son Jesus to be a deliverer to deliver & redeem us from the bondage to sin & death. 

Acts 7:35 & Hebrews 3:1-6 clearly shows how Moses was only but a type of Christ.

Moses was a servant/minister appointed over the house/tabernacle of God in the old testament. Much more in the new testament, Christ is the Son over his own house(God's house). We often hear ministers today speak of the setman over the house of God; if it be the house of God indeed & not the house of a man, there is only one setman over the house of God and that is Christ. No man can be the setman over the house of God(the people of God).

Hebrews 3:6 & 10:21.
"But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end."
"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he consecrated for us, through the veil, which is his flesh. And having a great high priest over the house of God."

Moses in the old testament was only a minister/servant for a testimony of things to be spoken after; which things God has now spoken/communicated unto us in the person of his Son Christ Jesus(See Hebrews 1:1-2 & 2:3).

In the new testament, Christ is our Moses(deliverer/redeemer), no man is and can be our Moses(deliverer/redeemer); though there are many religious leaders today, who like the Scribes & Pharisees sit on the seat of Moses, claiming to be Moses, preaching themselves and having the ministers they appointed/ordained, preach them same way Moses was preached in the religious synagogues of Judaism. Matthew 23:2-11; Acts 15:21.

The veil of the old testament thus remains in places where men preach themselves asserting to be like Moses who was a prophet by whom God delivered & led the children of Israel out of Egypt; asserting their own authority & claiming spiritual headship and covering over God's people(the church). The light of the glorious gospel of Christ is thus obscured, as these religious leaders stand in the way, preaching themselves, ordaining ministers/servants for themselves who also preach them, instilling their fear in men, projecting their image and glory. What the people in these synagogues of men, are made to behold & conform to, is the image and glory of the self acclaimed religious heads.

The subtlely in these synagogues(what we call churches today) headed by men, is that Christ is not completely taken out of the picture, as they profess that Jesus is Lord; most of them also preach Christ but not as the absolute/sole Lord and head of the body; they have a perfect mixture, partially preaching Christ, as they preach, assert & emphasise their own spiritual authority & headship; they deliver this perfect mixture using good words & fair speeches to perfectly beguile & capture the hearts & minds of the simple & undiscerning. Romans 16:16-18.

The Man Of God Or The Man Of Himself.  A very thin line exists between a man of God and a man of himself. Many today are called men of God but they are men of themselves or men of the people. They speak of themselves, represent their own interests and concerns, even in the things of God. It's high time we defined who a man of God is.
