 True Impact In Ministry.


There is so much at the present, which looks like impact, result or success in ministry & which impresses the human mind with a sense of real/great accomplishment, but when the fire goes through it, it will be found as having no true spiritual value/substance as to abide/to be carried on as reward into eternity.

Often we hear people talk about impact & results in christian service/ministry, yet what they're actually referring to as impact is in the realm of the seen(what eyes can see), the material, temporal & transient....like gigantic auditoriums/meeting places, large following/congregation, material prosperity, acquisition of much real estate, equipments, machinery & mercenaries for 'missionary work'.etc.

That which registers in their minds as impact might seem spiritual under the garb & name of "the work of God" yet it is of no real spiritual/eternal value.

In the long run the flesh profits nothing, though it may seem to get results.

At the end of the day, what abides & stands the test of the fire, is not what is done for God but what is done by God.

The Man Of God Or The Man Of Himself.  A very thin line exists between a man of God and a man of himself. Many today are called men of God but they are men of themselves or men of the people. They speak of themselves, represent their own interests and concerns, even in the things of God. It's high time we defined who a man of God is.
