Angels Can't Preach The Gospel?

Some assert that angels can't preach the gospel, thus they assume that what Paul said in Galatians 1:8 is only a hyperbole/exaggeration.

Galatians 1:8  "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

How could what Paul said in Galatians 1:8 be taken as a hyperbole/exaggeration?

Do we not see it's connection to what he wrote to the saints in Corinth?

2 Corinthians 11:3-4

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Who was the first being to preach/give an exegesis of the word of God?  Was it not the fallen cherub who manifested in the guise of a serpent in Eden?

Was that not an angelic being(lucifer) preaching & perverting the word of God?

In connection to deception, can the devil transfigure himself as an angel of light/illumination to teach/preach another gospel? Of course yes! The apostle in the 14th verse of the same 2nd Corinthians 11, intimates/discloses that; having set forth the history of that which transpired in Eden: how Eve was beguiled through the subtility of the serpent.

2 Corinthians 11:14

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Does the bible not speak of the doctrine/teaching of devils?

Who are devils but fallen/rebellious angelic beings?

1 Timothy 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

Do devils speak?

Luke 4:41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. See also Matthew 8:31.

Were Angels not the ones who spoke/delivered the law?

Acts 7:38 & 53

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us.

Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

Hebrews 2:2

"For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him"

*Now even with the transition from the law spoken/delivered by angels to the gospel of grace in Christ, angels are still involved in preaching/declaring the glad tidings of the gospel though not directly saddled with the responsibility as given the great commission to preach to every creature, they are all sent forth/commissioned to minister for/aid those who go forth to preach.

Hebrews 1:14  Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 2:5  For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

1 Peter 1:12  Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Acts 5:19-20  But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,  Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

*The fact that angels are not directly commissioned/saddled with the responsibility of preaching the gospel of grace to every creature, does not mean that they can't preach it. It is thus not an issue of disability or inability on their part to preach but an issue of a dispensational shift in God's program...the dispensation of the gospel of grace has been committed to men like the apostle said of himself in 1st Corinthians 9:17.

Consider The Following Points:

(1.) An angel announced/preached the glad tidings of the birth of Christ. Luke 2:10-11.

(2.) Angels announced/preached the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, citing the words of the Lord, such that the women remembered his words.

Luke 24:3-8, 22-23

3-8  And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words.

22-23 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

(3.) At the ascension of Jesus from mount Olives, angels preached his second coming.

Acts 1:10-11

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Lastly, even in the book of Revelation, the only new testament book of prophecy delivered to the church, an angel was involved in it's disclosure & delivery; and in the 14th chapter we see 3 angels going forth to preach the everlasting gospel.

Revelation 1:1

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly take place and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.

Revelation 14:6-10

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
