In A Time Of Fullness....What God Wants.

From the very onset of the year, it's been very difficult to get my lips to utter, or my fingers to type the conventional 'happy new year' greeting; for the weight of the great burden and responsibility of what lies ahead; knowing that this timeline represents a very signficant shift from so much that has been, to things that must be(brought in) in a time of fullness.

We have not come to the fullness of time yet, but we're surely in a time of fullness, a time when fullness is in view.

A time of fullness is a time of visitation, when God visits to ensure that everything concerning what is his and which belongs to him, is wholly according to his mind and his order. What God wants becomes the supreme issue in a time of fullness and it is not inclusive of what we want but exclusive and peremptory. We will come to know the government of God, his sovereign majesty and prerogatives(exclusive rights) in enforcing his own counsel.

It shall not be a year of this or that, though many do recycle religious themes from year to year to project things men want and would love to hear; it will rather be a very serious period/time of intensity upon the earth, when God will begin to enforce his counsels and would no longer tolerate that which is not according to his mind. Heaven will bring it's pressure to bear upon that which belongs to God and is called by his name, upon the earth; the pressure will be to ensure that the precision of heaven is attained, and that everything is done according to the mind of God, even in the minutest details.

The inescapable reality which we will be faced with as God's people, is God's disapproval, displeasure and judgment of things that are not of him, which are yet done/branded in/with his name.

We're in a time when it is no longer about our targets, our projects, what we want but what God wants. In a time when God will be really known as he that works all things after the counsel of his own will. The sovereignty of God's word, God's will and God's counsel will be known; the word of the Lord and that which is of the Lord will be greatly magnified against the discrediting, disapproval and judgment of what is of man

Over the years it might have seemed as though against the verdict of scripture, the flesh has gloried in the presence of the Lord; as men have built tabernacles they project to be the house of the Lord, raised altars and created a hallowed atmosphere/experience around them which looks like/approximates to the shekinah presence of the Lord.

The glory of men and women has been mistaken for the glory of God, and ignoble vessels who wear/represent their own glory have been regarded as bearing the glory of God. Men have succeded in preaching themselves, projecting their images with that of their spouses as the heads over God's church/assembly/people. Like Nimrod, the mighty hunter before the Lord, they seem to have waxed greatly and fared sumptuously in their own glory in the presence of the Lord, while the Lord kept silent and watched; but in a time of fullness, when it fully turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away, the veil of the flesh and projection of the glory of men which obscures the light of the glorious gospel of Christ. Then shall it really be known, that no flesh can glory in his presence. 2 Corinthians 3:13-18; 4:4-5; Corinthians 1:23-24, 29.

Genesis 10:8-10 "And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar."

Romans 4:1-2  "What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God."

17-18  "As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be."

Genesis 17:1-5  "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Isaiah 2:7-12  "Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there anyend of their chariots: Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not. Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low.
