I will tell my children the truth because they DESERVE to know the truth and to avoid DELUSION. 

So I will not lie to my children that a SANTA CLAUS coming from the NORTH POLE every year, riding on REINDEERS accompanied by ELVES with gifts for those who are not naughty has anything to do with Jesus being born. Because it DOESN'T!

I will not lie to my children that CUTTING TREES and placing them in the house decked with balls of light, and people placing gifts under the tree has anything to do with Jesus being born. Because it DOESN'T!

I will not lie to my children that "DECKING THE HALLS WITH BOUGHS OF HOLLY" has anything to do with Jesus being born. Because it DOESN'T!

I will not lie to my children that kissing under the MISTLETOE has anything to do with Jesus being born. Because it DOESN'T! 

I will not lie to my children that painting of houses, buying new clothes, shopping, eating turkey and chicken, partying, Swings and riding roller coasters, travelling, etc has anything to do with Jesus being born. Because it DOESN'T!

I will not lie to my children that Jesus was born on 25 December. Because he WASN'T! 

I will not lie to my children that Jesus needs a birthday party. Because He DOESN'T!

I will not lie to my children that wearing red and white has anything to do with Jesus birth. Because it DOESN'T!

In Africa (like in my village RIGHT NOW), they are doing MASQUERADES for Jesus. I will tell my Children it has nothing to do with Jesus being born! Because it DOESN'T!

You see, all these are lies and it is the duty of parents to tell truth and not propagate lies! There is no good that can come out of lie. It is wrong for parents to DECEIVE their children.

I Will Tell My Children The Truth.

I will tell my children that God didn't send His Son into the world so that we can have a holiday. I will tell them that God gave us His Son so that we can have the Son. We were sinners in need of a Saviour not in need of holiday. God gave us a Saviour SO THAT we can be SAVED and OBEY His Son as Lord EVERYDAY! We have the Son. That's what God SENT not a holiDAY to eat turkey and visit Santa Claus or go partying under a Christmas Tree or to do MASQUERADES!

I will tell my children that Christmas is a holiday season. In other words, a time when people don't work. So I will tell them to USE that season to rest, to do all they couldn't do when School or work was going on. To visit friends they couldn't visit before, maybe go to the Zoo or park, maybe ride a swing or rollercoaster, maybe travel, go shopping etc. Why? Because it's a period of no work and they should use it do all they haven't been able to do during the year. 

But i will not tell my children that they are doing all of that FOR JESUS. Because they are Not. They are doing it for themselves. Jesus doesn't need any of those. I will tell my children NOT to judge or condemn those who claim they are celebrating Jesus on 25 December. It's none of their business. 

I will tell my children that they can enjoy those songs that sing the TRUTH about Jesus and His birth. And they don't really need a 25 December to do that. They can do it everyday if they want. I will tell them to avoid the ones that sing FABLES that are not according to the Gospel! Like twelve days of Christmas, Santa Claus, Sleigh Ride, Frosty etc!

I will tell my children that the Gift of God is CHRIST HIMSELF and not a special DAY! I will tell them that God's desire is for us to have Christ in us and live WITH Christ, enjoy Christ everyday, and live FOR Him everyday! I will tell them that there is no "joy of Christmas." It's joy is a PSYCHOLOGICAL BUILT-UP "JOY"! It's just a day. In the first week of January, that so called joy will dry up, life becomes boring waiting for another Christmas to come, depression sets in, eyes become open to EXPENSES and DEBTS during Christmas! Christmas joy is like ALCOHOL. It clears up in the morning making you want more. It makes your joy DEPENDENT on things outside of you. Things lesser than God Himself in you. It keeps you NEEDY.

I will tell my children the true Joy that NEVER goes away that they can have EVERYDAY is CHRIST HIMSELF in their hearts. He's the Spring of Living and Satisfying Water that never dries up in the soul!

I will tell them that it is natural for man to celebrate. I will tell them that man can celebrate without dragging God into it as an excuse to legitimise their love for carnal celebrations.

I will not LIE to my children nor help DELUDE them!
