Once Saved Forever Saved...Where The Theme 'Eternal Salvation' Is Misunderstood.

The only place we see the theme or phrase 'eternal salvation' in scripture is in  Hebrews 5:9 "And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him". It is funny to see men speak of eternal salvation without emphasising obedience to Christ as Lord. He is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. Let me put it this way 'Eternal salvation' is a book and Christ is the author but then he says it is those that obey him that would have their names eternally etched in the book.
One becomes a vain talker/preacher when he speaks of eternal salvation and tells people that once they receive Christ they are eternally saved no matter what they do. It's high time such vain talkers kept quiet and listen to the author himself.
Now let's listen to the author of eternal salvation and hear his emphasis on obedience as a prerequisite for access to the holy city and the tree of life.
Revelation 22
13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
