The Truth Of Eternal Salvation & The Falsehood Of OSAS.

The Truth Of Eternal Salvation & The Falsehood Of OSAS. The scriptural doctrine of eternal salvation is often misconstrued for what some call 'OSAS' (Once Saved Always Saved), which is a false and unscriptural doctrine. A very thin line exists between the two & it's a very subtle one; and it lies in the difference between trusting in salvation as a thing in itself received by the saved(a gift which cannot be lost), and trusting in the saviour himself as the author of eternal salvation. Eternal salvation is not an end reached in the believer, but an end realised & perfected in Christ for the believer, thus 1st Timothy 4:10 says "Christ is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe" & Hebrews 5:9 says "being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him". In 1st Timothy 1:1 we see that Jesus Christ is our hope(the hope of them that believe), and according to 1st Thessalonians 5:8 & P...

Who Owns The Church?

Image
Who Owns The Church?  The severity of the judgment coming to the church in these last times will be chiefly along the lines of the question of the ownership of the church...Who Owns The Church?  In the name of the Lord Jesus, on behalf of the HolyGhost sent down and on behalf of God who bought the church with the blood of his own, who owns the church?  This is a question every minister or preacher calling on the name of Jesus & running what is called "church" or assembly today upon the earth, will have to answer in these last times.  Sadly there are many doing ministry today, preaching & praying in the name of Jesus, but they are far from walking in the consciousness & reality of the ownership & lordship of Jesus over his church/people.  Note: The church/assembly is the church of God which he bought with the blood of his own & not your church. 👇🏼 "Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, wherein the Holy Spirit has se...

When An Open Door Is Nothing But A Trap & A Snare To The Soul.

Image
A Testimony Of How I Shut The Door On A Deal Of About $4m. Last August(1st August, 2021) i gave a  testimony of how God delivered me in 2019 from having anything to do with Hushpuppy, little did i know that exactly a year after that testimony, a bigger temptation was going to come. Indeed it came like a big open door, as on the 31st of July this year i got a call from someone who had viewed my business page on a certain website. His call opened a series of online & offline discussions & meetings with some foreign investor he linked me to. After two weeks of discussions & background checks, the foreign investor called to say he's confident to work with me. I'll try to make the story as succinct as possible. I had several meetings and site inspections with top realtors on ground, and on the third week, the foreign investor's representative travelled down to inspect the proposed project sites. However, after an entire month of discussions with this foreign in...

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall (Part 2).

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall  ( Part 2).   It is indeed amazing to see that in Ephesus where the apostle Paul says he had delivered the whole counsel of God, the church/assembly of God's people there had fallen, having left their first love. 👇🏼 Acts 20:17, 26-27 But from Miletus having sent to Ephesus, he called over  to him  the elders of the assembly. Wherefore I witness to you this day, that I am clean from the blood of all, for I have not shrunk from announcing to you all the whole counsel of God. Revelation 2:1 & 5 Unto the messenger of the assembly, in Ephesus, write:––These things, saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven lamps of gold....Remember, therefore, whence thou hast fallen, and repent, and do the first works; otherwise, I come unto thee, and will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou repent. In the Lord's revelation and presentation of himself to Ephesus, the fullness...

The Subtlely Of A Spiritual Fall (Part 1).

Spiritual fall could be so subtle that it can become the state of a believer for years, without being detected or discerned.  It takes revelation in the presence of the Lord to expose this very subtle and sorry spiritual state as we see in the book of Revelation 2:1-5, in the Lord's letter to the assembly in Ephesus. Ephesus was fervent in spirit & zealous in good works; they had great spiritual virtues like patience/endurance, they had spiritual strength and stamina such that the Lord commended them for having laboured and borne for his name's sake, without fainting or growing weary; yet spiritually they had fallen. There was just one thing they lacked and that one thing in effect is everything, that one thing is like the tap root that bore the fruits the Lord had commended them for, thus if disconnected or cut off from, everyother thing was going to wane & die with time. That one thing is that they had left their first love; they had departed from the place of havi...

Heirship Of All Things In The Name Of Jesus.

All Things At The Command Of The Name Jesus. The name of Jesus is a name that goes with the inheritance of all things. In Hebrews 1:2, scripture says that in t hese last days, God has spoken to us in the person of his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; then goes on in verse 4 to say that the Son has been made so much better than the angels, as he has by reason of his heirship of all things, inherited a more excellent name than they. Note: These lines of scripture speak of the humanity of Christ who 1st Corinthians 15:47 calls "the second man". God appointed him heir of all things as a man; having taken up humanity for the suffering of death on the cross and being raised from the dead as the firstbegotten from the dead and head of a new creation/race of men. In touching his divinity, he has always been...the I AM(the self existent and ever existent/abiding one) & cannot be appointed to become something more or attain a high...

True Holiness & Righteousness Is Occupation With Christ.

As early as in old testament prophecy, holiness was clearly defined in it's true character and essence as 'Unto the Lord' - "Holiness Unto The Lord" Zechariah 14:20-21 & Jeremiah 2:3. True righteousness and holiness is not unto ourselves or unto men as seeking the approval of men, but unto the Lord and thus lies in occupation with the Lord. When we teach righteousness, sanctification & holiness as themes, things or virtues in themselves which we're to set out or strive to attain, we're already programmed for religious self occupation and that's defeat even before a fall. We are not called to be holy or righteous, neither are we called to fellowship with our self efforts to be holy or righteous, we are rather called to fellowship with the Son of God who is our sanctification and rightousness. When God in the scripture of truth says: "Be holy for i am holy"(1 Peter 1:16) it is not a call to holiness as a theme or thing in itself, i...

The Appearing Of Jesus Christ(salvation ready to be revealed in the last time) Part 2.

Still on t he issue of the significance of the revelation/appearing of Jesus Christ to the church, Hebrews 9:28 clearly states that his appearing again unto those who look for him, is unto salvation. "Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." This is of course the salvation ready to be revealed in the last time which goes with the revelation/appearing of the Lord Jesus according to 1st Peter 1:5 & 13 👇🏼 5  Who are kept guarded by  the  power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in  the  last time. 13  Wherefore, having girded up the loins of your mind,  be  sober and  hope with perfect stedfastness in the grace  which will be  brought to you at  the  revelation of Jesus Christ. Verse 9 calls it the salvation of our soul which is the end, conclusion or consummation of our faith.👇🏼 9  R...

The Appearing Of Jesus Christ(salvation ready to be revealed in the last time).

1st Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his great mercy, has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance, reserved in the heavens for you, who are kept guarded by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. *Mark "Inheritance reserved in the heavens for you", and "salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."  Now let's read verse 6 to 7  "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the proving of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ".  Here in verses 6 & 7 scripture speaks of the test/proving of our faith; how it is much more precious to ...

Your Pastor Is The Jesus You See.

Your Pastor Is The Jesus You See.  This is one of the favourite captivating lines & chain of words used by vain talkers/preachers to seduce & bind men to themselves.  They will tell you that they represent God; they represent Christ to the church. That in his absence they are the Christ you see. None of the apostles preached such a crap.  Peter writing to the overseers and elders of the church on spiritual leadership, speaks of Christ as the Chief shepherd, and he himself as nothing but an elder also. - 1st Peter 5:1-5. He never said anything like representing the Chief Shepherd to the elders or being a kind of a general overseer who has general oversight of both the overseers & the flock/church at large; neither did he say anything like the elders representing or being a kind of Chief Shepherd to the flock.  There is only one Chief Shepherd and no elder is to usurp his place or act in His stead as though representing Him to His people.  Echoes...

Be Not Moved Away From The Hope Of The Gospel.

There is the faith of the gospel of salvation and there is the hope of the gospel of salvation.  The faith of the gospel dwells on what God has wrought for us in Christ, what is ours in Christ now. What God has wrought for us is in Christ and not in ourselves; apart from Christ we have no access to what God has wrought for us; in ourselves apart from Christ we have nothing good; the apostle Paul in the 18th verse of Romans 7 says: " For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing".  Another apostle(John) says in the fifth chapter of 1st John: " And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has life: he that has not the Son of God has not life"(1John 5:11-12).  This life is in His Son, not in us/ourselves as custodians of it apart from the Son. The Son is the custodian of eternal life such that it is only in relationship with the Son that we have it. W hat God has wrought ...

Finding Eternal Joy, Satisfaction & Ecstasy In Christ.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that i desire beside thee. Psalm 73:25. Thou wilt show me the path of life; in thy presence is fulness of joy and at thy righthand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11. Inasmuch as the Lord is all that we have, He should also be all that we desire and find satisfaction in. It is not enough to know and profess that He is all that we have(whom have i in heaven and on earth but thee); we ought to also come to know & have Him as our only desire and satisfaction, such that we desire none beside Him and find no satisfaction in anyother but Him. Christ speaking in David declares in the sixteenth psalm: "Jehovah is my portion(my inheritance) and my cup:"(Psalm 16:5). What is the difference? My portion is what belongs to me, -what is mine, whether or not I enjoy it. My cup is what I actually appropriate, drink, enjoy or make my own. With the Lord, indeed, His portion and His joy were one: Jehovah was the me...

Where Heathenism Thrives In 'Christian' Prayer Today.

Where Heathenism Thrives In 'Christian' Prayer Today. The religious mindset that loud prayers of repetitions are powerful & heard by God, is that which Jesus revealed as a heathen/pagan practise & a vain/empty religious exercise. Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not  vain   repetition s, as the heathen  do : for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Mark the words: "they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking". This is not just a thought or mindset but a practise thus Jesus warns his disciples against using vain repetition while praying, like the heathen do. The wrong thought/mindset had already given birth to a wrong practise. There are many of such wrong and heathen thoughts(ideologies) & practises imported into present day christendom. When a supposed christian preacher comes up shouting fire ...

The True Word Of Faith: Faith In The Resurrection Of Christ.

The True Word Of Faith: Faith In The Resurrection Of Christ.  The righteousness which is of faith is anchored on the resurrection of Christ, and by resurrection the cross of Christ is implied. The foundation of the resurrection is the cross, as without the death on the cross, there would be no such thing as resurrection; and the resurrection is the basis/ground of justification and righteousness by faith(Romans 4:25). The righteousness which is of faith rebukes unbelief in the resurrection power, and emphasizes the word of faith in the resurrection power. Romans 10:6-9 But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down; or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among  the  dead. But what says it? The word is near thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and ...

The Horrors Of Insensitivity To God's Greatest Values.

Image
In recent years & times i've seen people behave in very abnormal/strange ways; i mean people you deem to be normal, acting in such a way that makes you wonder if they actually have a beating human heart and conscience.  There's absolutely nothing normal with speaking and reaching an agreement with someone, only for the person to renege on the agreement and act like nothing happened; no remorse, no apologies or explanation for defaulting.  Imagine you just spoke with someone on the phone and he or she says am going to do this or that, but fails to do so & never got in touch to say am sorry i couldn't make it; it feels like being treated like dung, worse still like you don't even exist. One might say maybe they forgot; well, the fact that they forgot shows they actually have no true value for the human relationship.  What you truly value, you would regard, respect & hold/treat rightly.  I've seen brethren 'in the faith' renege on agreement and go o...

The Flesh Profits Nothing.

The flesh(human body) profits nothing(John 6:63) Flesh & blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God(1st Corinthians 15:50). The flesh does not abide; all it eats, ingests, wears, puts on, takes up, gathers or amasses to itself ends in decay & decomposition/corruption. No matter how much you sow to the flesh, the harvest at the end of the day is corruption/decomposition - Galatians 6:8. The flesh being futile is naturally inclined to vanity. All it seeks, desires and craves for are vain things, ephemeral and transient. It does not desire nor care about spiritual things or anything eternal. With it's lusts, affections & works, it is opposed to and contrary to the things of the Spirit, lusting against the Spirit and warring against the soul. Galatians 5:17, 19-24; 1 Peter 2:11. You want to know just how hostile the flesh is? It does not give a damn about where your soul is going to hereafter. All it cares about is it's own pleasure & satisfaction in this life...
