Unending Horizons Of Truth.

Gradually 'fire' is replacing the name of Jesus on the lips of many professing ones when they pray.  It has replaced the simplicity of  faith in the name of Jesus with vociferous, repetitive shouts/chants of fire like fire! fire! fire-ya-ya-ya-ya!’ They cast out demons by fire, destroy their perceived enemies by fire, receive whatever they desire/want from God by fire & not by faith in Jesus. I wonder what fire they're invoking...strange fire it must be for scripture teaches us to cast out devils in the name of Jesus, to heal the sick, open blind eyes, cleanse lepers all in the name of Jesus and not by any so called fire. The apostles & disciples of the Lord never invoked or called down fire in prayer against ugly situations or perceived enemies. The battle we're in as believers is clearly defined in the scriptures of truth, and it is a fight of faith...."the good fight of faith"(1 Timothy 6:12). Faith is all we have as believers to relate with God, without faith it is impossible to walk with God, without faith it is impossible to please God. When satan desired to have Peter to sift him as wheat, Jesus said to Peter: "I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not". The greatest concern of the Lord in praying for Peter was that his faith fail not. He didn't pray for Peter not to fail but that his faith fail not, why? because faith is the only resource, all that Peter would have/need to connect, relate with God & draw from God, even when everyother thing fails.  Peter indeed failed woefully but his faith did not fail, and thus he pulled through that sifting experience. In a vision, it was evening time and night was fast approaching so i resolved in my heart to get home before dark. On my way home, messages started coming, flowing like streams from a river.  They were messages for a sister i know, and i called her to read the messages i sent her but she would rather have me read them out to her.  It was as though i read from the psalms, a lot of beautiful lines of what the Lord wants to do with her, however it ended with "But her current is still her company". I couldn't remember any of those beautiful lines for the emphasis was on this: "But her current is still her company".  Who Is Your Destiny Helper? I often hear people talk about destiny helper. This is one of such acronyms that has never resonated with my spirit & i can't remember ever uttering it. Can a man be your destiny helper? I think the first question should be what is your destiny as a believer in Christ, what is the destiny of the believer in Christ? Ephesians 1:4-5 briefly captures that; however, we wouldn't delve into that in details now. In the true sense, there is no help in man. Do not be merely carried away by waves made by a man so anointed and who even functions with a strong presence of God in his teaching/prayer meetings. *Test the spirit, find out what he's ultimately after....is he after his own or after God, does he preach himself, seeking the recognition of men, seeking the submission, reverence & honour that comes from men; is he one who motivates men to seek God just for things, material prosperity, breakthrough etc. or is he one who is wholly after God, wholly after seeking God for who he is, wholly after bringing men to the knowledge of the Son of God, such that men might learn to hear, to fear & obey God, to submit themselves to God?  True Impact In Ministry. There is so much at the present, which looks like impact, result or success in ministry & which impresses the human mind with a sense of real/great accomplishment, but when the fire goes through it, it will be found as having no true spiritual value/substance as to abide/to be carried on as reward into eternity. Often we hear people talk about impact & results in christian service/ministry, yet what they're actually referring to as impact is in the realm of the seen(what eyes can see), the material, temporal & transient....like gigantic auditoriums/meeting places, large following/congregation, material prosperity, acquisition of much real estate, equipments, machinery & mercenaries for 'missionary work'.etc. That which registers in their minds as impact might seem spiritual under the garb & name of "the work of God" yet it is of no real spiritual/eternal value. Some assert that angels can't preach the gospel, thus they assume that what Paul said in Galatians 1:8 is only a hyperbole/exaggeration. Galatians 1:8  "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." How could what Paul said in Galatians 1:8 be taken as a hyperbole/exaggeration? Some argue that there is nothing like tongue/language of angels; that any tongue which is unintelligible to men & unfruitful to human understanding is gibberish & not in anyway an utterance of mysteries in the spirit. If in the old testament, the church in the wilderness(Israel) ate manna the food of angels, unknown to men, it obviously takes unbelief for one to doubt that there is any such thing as tongue/language of angels, unknown to men and for which mortal men would need to be endowed with a spiritual gift to be able to speak and interpret. The Knowledge Of The Son Of God(The Father Revealed). There is no revelation of the Father outside the knowledge of the Son.  It is in knowing the Son that we come to see the Father revealed and manifested in the Son. Where there is no revelation, living consciousness and awareness of the Father, there also the knowledge of the Son is missing. What Does It Mean To Seek The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness? We must first understand what the kingdom of God is and his righteousness in connection to his kingdom, in order to comprehend what it means to seek the kingdom of God & his righteousness.  (1.) The first thing to know is that the kingdom of God is not a kingdom that can be corrupted, changed or moved; it is thus an eternal kingdom whose reign is in life eternal. The Wonders/Marvels Of The Cross Of Christ.  On the cross, the One who on the mount was once transfigured above the brightness of the sun, lay with that glory eclipsed in utter darkness, his visage so marred more than any man and his form utterly beyond that of the sons of men; yet the pressure of that whole agony upon His soul could get nothing contrary from Him in response, but perfect submission & alignment to the divine will. Tested By God's Hidden Ways & Working. God often hides himself to test our pursuit/ seeking of Him; to reward us, if against all odds, we diligently and relentlessly seek Him. When God raises up a corporate vessel to represent & bring in a greater fullness of His Son in a time of intense/dire spiritual need, such a company goes through strange & unusual ways of testing, of perplexity, of adversity, of strain, and ofttimes it's position seems to be an impossible one. You know that under certain conditions of pressure you are tempted to question even what the Lord has said to you. Often your mind could be assailed with thoughts of doubt & querries of unbelief like: "have i been deceived? Am I holding unto an illusion? Nothing seems to be happening, there seems to be no tangible development; I am getting older & older, and even the promises of God do not seem to be fulfilled." The ways & workings of God in a time of transition are hidden;...

While on these earthly shores, Jesus knew all men and committed himself to no man knowing what was in man. Likewise the HolySpirit sent down from heaven does not merely commit himself to men's speech, teaching, preaching; he does not merely commit to what we say, our avowed or promised loyalty/surrender in worship. What the HolySpirit commits himself to is the very measure of God's dealings, which we have allowed God to work in us, that which is inwrought, that which has been through the fire/furnace and come out like gold...the measure of the stature of Christ, which through deep travail, has been practically formed in us.
