Altars Of Strange Fire. Where The Fire Of The HolySpirit Is Grossly Abused.

Gradually 'fire' is replacing the name of Jesus on the lips of many professing ones when they pray.  It has replaced the simplicity of  faith in the name of Jesus with vociferous, repetitive shouts/chants of fire like fire! fire! fire-ya-ya-ya-ya!’ They cast out demons by fire, destroy their perceived enemies by fire, receive whatever they desire/want from God by fire & not by faith in Jesus. I wonder what fire they're invoking...strange fire it must be for scripture teaches us to cast out devils in the name of Jesus, to heal the sick, open blind eyes, cleanse lepers all in the name of Jesus and not by any so called fire. The apostles & disciples of the Lord never invoked or called down fire in prayer against ugly situations or perceived enemies. The only time they tried doing such, Jesus sternly rebuked them saying: "Ye know not what manner of Spirit ye are of" Luke 9:55.  Invoking/shouting fire against perceived enemies/problems in prayer, does not refle...

Where The Gospel Of Christ Is Veiled/Hid Till This Day.

Where The Gospel Of Christ Is Veiled/Hid Till This Day. "For Moses of old time had in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day." Acts 15:21. "But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away." 2nd Corinthians 3:15-16. "But if our gospel is hid, it is hid to them who are lost: In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and we ourselves as only but your servants for Jesus' sake." 2nd Corinthians 4:3-5. *Mark the following words: "Moses of old time had in every city them that preach him.." "Even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart." "For we preach not ourselves, b...

The Fight Of Faith.

The battle we're in as believers is clearly defined in the scriptures of truth, and it is a fight of faith...."the good fight of faith"(1 Timothy 6:12). Faith is all we have as believers to relate with God, without faith it is impossible to walk with God, without faith it is impossible to please God. When satan desired to have Peter to sift him as wheat, Jesus said to Peter: "I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not". The greatest concern of the Lord in praying for Peter was that his faith fail not. He didn't pray for Peter not to fail but that his faith fail not, why? because faith is the only resource, all that Peter would have/need to connect, relate with God & draw from God, even when everyother thing fails.  Peter indeed failed woefully but his faith did not fail, and thus he pulled through that sifting experience. As weak & frail as we are, we can fail & fall apart in ourselves; we can experience & find in ourselves the utte...

But Her Current Is Still Her Company (Message To A Woman Loved By Her Lord).

In a vision, it was evening time and night was fast approaching so i resolved in my heart to get home before dark. On my way home, messages started coming, flowing like streams from a river.  They were messages for a sister i know, and i called her to read the messages i sent her but she would rather have me read them out to her.  It was as though i read from the psalms, a lot of beautiful lines of what the Lord wants to do with her, however it ended with "But her current is still her company". I couldn't remember any of those beautiful lines for the emphasis was on this: "But her current is still her company". I woke up and pondered on those words; then came the understanding from the awareness i had in the vision, that her current is her present; her present situation and state/circumstances, her present place of habitation, livelihood and activities upon the earth.  She is in fellowship and companionship with her current/present state/location, and that is a ...

Can A Man Be Your Destiny Helper?

Who Is Your Destiny Helper? I often hear people talk about destiny helper. This is one of such acronyms that has never resonated with my spirit & i can't remember ever uttering it. Can a man be your destiny helper? I think the first question should be what is your destiny as a believer in Christ, what is the destiny of the believer in Christ? Ephesians 1:4-5 briefly captures that; however, we wouldn't delve into that in details now. In the true sense, there is no help in man. Psalm 146:3 says "Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help." The Psalmist praying to God in another Psalm, does not pray to God for destiny helpers but prays thus: "Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man." Psalm 60:11 Yet in another psalm, he said: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help ...

Don't Be Deceived By Anointing/Manifestation Of Power.

Do not be merely carried away by waves made by a man so anointed and who even functions with a strong presence of God in his teaching/prayer meetings. *Test the spirit, find out what he's ultimately after....is he after his own or after God, does he preach himself, seeking the recognition of men, seeking the submission, reverence & honour that comes from men; is he one who motivates men to seek God just for things, material prosperity, breakthrough etc. or is he one who is wholly after God, wholly after seeking God for who he is, wholly after bringing men to the knowledge of the Son of God, such that men might learn to hear, to fear & obey God, to submit themselves to God? In the fall of satan who was the covering cherub, we see the fearful possibility of one being so anointed and even operating/functioning in the very presence of God in the midst of the stones of fire, and yet wholly given over to self obsession & spiritual ambition, seeking his own, charting his own c...

True Impact In Ministry.

True Impact In Ministry. There is so much at the present, which looks like impact, result or success in ministry & which impresses the human mind with a sense of real/great accomplishment, but when the fire goes through it, it will be found as having no true spiritual value/substance as to abide/to be carried on as reward into eternity. Often we hear people talk about impact & results in christian service/ministry, yet what they're actually referring to as impact is in the realm of the seen(what eyes can see), the material, temporal & transient....like gigantic auditoriums/meeting places, large following/congregation, material prosperity, acquisition of much real estate, equipments, machinery & mercenaries for 'missionary work'.etc. That which registers in their minds as impact might seem spiritual under the garb & name of "the work of God" yet it is of no real spiritual/eternal value. In the long run the flesh profits nothing, though it may s...

Angels Can't Preach The Gospel?

Some assert that angels can't preach the gospel, thus they assume that what Paul said in Galatians 1:8 is only a hyperbole/exaggeration. Galatians 1:8  "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." How could what Paul said in Galatians 1:8 be taken as a hyperbole/exaggeration? Do we not see it's connection to what he wrote to the saints in Corinth? 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.  Who was the first being to preach/give an exegesis of the word of God?  Was it not the fallen cherub who manifested in the guise of a serpent in Eden? ...

Is There Anything Like Tongue/Language Of Angels?

Some argue that there is nothing like tongue/language of angels; that any tongue which is unintelligible to men & unfruitful to human understanding is gibberish & not in anyway an utterance of mysteries in the spirit. If in the old testament, the church in the wilderness(Israel) ate manna the food of angels, unknown to men, it obviously takes unbelief for one to doubt that there is any such thing as tongue/language of angels, unknown to men and for which mortal men would need to be endowed with a spiritual gift to be able to speak and interpret. The psalmist captures the experience of the children of Israel in eating manna in the wilderness thus:  Psalm 78:24-25 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven. Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full. The phrase translated as "angels' food" in the common version is "abbı̂yr lechem" in the Hebrew which means 'mighty/valiant bread' (of angels,...

The Knowledge Of The Son Of God(The Father Revealed).

The Knowledge Of The Son Of God(The Father Revealed). There is no revelation of the Father outside the knowledge of the Son.  It is in knowing the Son that we come to see the Father revealed and manifested in the Son. Where there is no revelation, living consciousness and awareness of the Father, there also the knowledge of the Son is missing. The Outraying Of God's Glory & Exact Engravement/Expression Of The Father's Substance. Scripture in Hebrews 1:3 reveals Christ(The Son Of God) as the outraying (Grk. apaugasma) of the God's glory; in other words, the Father's glory cannot be seen but in the Son who is the outraying of his glory; in him the Father's glory is fully/completely outrayed/revealed.  The Son is also the express image(Grk. charaktēr: exact engraving, expression & representation) of his person(Grk. hupostasis: concrete essence & substance).   The Son of God is not only the very engraving or engravement of the Father's substance/e...

"The Second Man Is The Lord From Heaven".

The second man who is the Lord from heaven and the last Adam, did not restore us in the estate of the first man as some wrongly teach by asserting that he has brought us back to the garden of Eden, back to the glory & fellowship lost therein to restore the dominion mandate of Genesis 1:28; He rather brings us into the paradise of God in heaven, of which the garden of Eden was only but a type.  He brings us to his own estate, the estate of the heavenly, which is far above the earthly estate & dominion of the first man. His dominion is a dominion over all things, both in heaven and on earth, thus He sits at the righthand of God in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion.  All things both in heaven and on earth have been put under him, all angels and authorities have been made subject unto Him(1st Peter 3:21-22. This is the transcendent glory of the second man and in Him, we have been made to sit together in heavenly places i...

What Does It Mean To Seek The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness?

Image
What Does It Mean To Seek The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness? We must first understand what the kingdom of God is and his righteousness in connection to his kingdom, in order to comprehend what it means to seek the kingdom of God & his righteousness.  (1.) The first thing to know is that the kingdom of God is not a kingdom that can be corrupted, changed or moved; it is thus an eternal kingdom whose reign is in life eternal. Wherever death reigns, truncating life, cannot be said to be the kingdom of God; thus scripture clearly shows that flesh & blood(the mortal body) which is subject to death, cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither will corruption inherit incorruption/incorruptibility which is a mark/character of God's kingdom.  Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.  1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood canno...

The Wonders/Marvels Of The Cross Of Christ.

The Wonders/Marvels Of The Cross Of Christ.  On the cross, the One who on the mount was once transfigured above the brightness of the sun, lay with that glory eclipsed in utter darkness, his visage so marred more than any man and his form utterly beyond that of the sons of men; yet the pressure of that whole agony upon His soul could get nothing contrary from Him in response, but perfect submission & alignment to the divine will. The more the pressure, the more manifest the perfection - the absolute perfection that was His: absolute goodness -"the Son of Man glorified, and God glorified in Him." His unfaltering & unwavering obedience was absolute even unto death.  This was the victory, that the Holy One should go into death, the spotless Lamb delivered into the hands of death...this was the undoing of death as the sting of sin with which it holds it's captive ones, was no where to be found, the Lamb had borne and taken away in the offering of himself, the sins of ...

Tested By God's Hidden Ways & Working.

Tested By God's Hidden Ways & Working. God often hides himself to test our pursuit/ seeking of Him; to reward us, if against all odds, we diligently and relentlessly seek Him. When God raises up a corporate vessel to represent & bring in a greater fullness of His Son in a time of intense/dire spiritual need, such a company goes through strange & unusual ways of testing, of perplexity, of adversity, of strain, and ofttimes it's position seems to be an impossible one. You know that under certain conditions of pressure you are tempted to question even what the Lord has said to you. Often your mind could be assailed with thoughts of doubt & querries of unbelief like: "have i been deceived? Am I holding unto an illusion? Nothing seems to be happening, there seems to be no tangible development; I am getting older & older, and even the promises of God do not seem to be fulfilled." The ways & workings of God in a time of transition are hidden;...

What The HolySpirit Commits Himself To.

While on these earthly shores, Jesus knew all men and committed himself to no man knowing what was in man. Likewise the HolySpirit sent down from heaven does not merely commit himself to men's speech, teaching, preaching; he does not merely commit to what we say, our avowed or promised loyalty/surrender in worship. What the HolySpirit commits himself to is the very measure of God's dealings, which we have allowed God to work in us, that which is inwrought, that which has been through the fire/furnace and come out like gold...the measure of the stature of Christ, which through deep travail, has been practically formed in us.

How Will The Professing Church & Christendom End? The Restraint On Total Apostasy & Judgment Of Damnation. Part 2.

The Restraint On Total Apostasy & Judgment Of Damnation. Part 2. As noted in the first part, God's restraint in pouring out consummate judgment on iniquity & the wicked, is the righteous. As long as the righteous are still found in the midst, God is restrained from pouring out judgment, but as soon as he removes the righteous from the midst, his judgment ensues. We have already seen several biblical examples of this undeniable truth. Now we will consider a very important biblical prophecy which speaks of the mystery of iniquity, the restraint on it, the removal of the restraint, the total/open apostasy(falling away) of christendom and the revelation of the man of sin(the antichrist). We will also consider how this prophecy tallies with the parable of the wheat and tares, and the parable of the leaven, which the Lord Jesus taught when he opened his mouth in Matthew 13 to reveal the mysteries of the kindgom of heaven. Here's a juxtaposition of the prophecy and t...

The Restraint On Total Apostasy & Judgment Of Damnation. (Part 1).

The Restraint On Total Apostasy & Judgment Of Damnation. Throughout scripture God's restraint(the time of his patience) in pouring out consummate judgment on iniquity, is the righteous. As long as the righteous are still found in the midst, God is restrained from pouring out judgment, but as soon as he removes the righteous from the midst, his judgment ensues. In the days of Noah, God's restraint was only Noah who was a preacher of righteousness, and the Spirit of God in relationship with Noah was striving to persuade and convict that generation of the coming judgment but their hearts were hardened in evil. God said "My Spirit will not always strive with man for he is flesh(he is carnal, unresponsive to the things of the Spirit) yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years". Genesis 6:3. God thus gave a timeline for that generation, the timeline of his patience while the ark was being prepared, and when that time elapsed and the ark was ready, God shu...

Discerning The Times (Living & Seeing Beyond The Breaking News) Part 2.

Image
In the solemnity of the times, it takes utter spiritual blindness for us to see the unprecedented taking place in our days, and merely assume it's nothing unusual/spectacular; seeking to explain it away with mere words of human wisdom/logic, rather than seek the face of God to grant us spiritual understanding of the times. Lack of spiritual discernment and understanding of the times, will be very costly in these days, worse still the lack of discernment of the body of Christ, as that which the heart of God is fully set on, and the object of the Lord's greatest affection, for which he will spare nothing in the world, to purge, purify and put her in order. The Code 19 In Covid-19. A Major Setback For A Reset. In a vision on the 21st of January 2020, a voice spoke saying "We are still in 2019". This sounded quite incredible and absurd as it made no sense then, seeing we were already 21 days into the new year; it also was like a negative declaration, like a setba...
