Understanding The Gospel Of The Kingdom In The Light Of So Great Salvation.

Image
"The gospel of salvation is only 10% of the kingdom; the gospel of the kingdom makes up the remaining 90%. The epistles help build believers, but for societal influence and national transformation, we must go beyond the epistles and the salvation message into the gospel of the kingdom." Words spoken/taught by a certain preacher in an ongoing christian conference, which many considered as a very powerful & great teaching, but how true are these assertions? Are they scriptural? Words drawn from the verse of a scripture largely misunderstood and so often quoted to justify the unbridled & misleading ambition of dominionism, which has pervaded present day christendom. It is thus trade or do business till I come. Contextually, what was the business? Nothing but the business of saving the lost 👇🏽 In the preceding verses(vs 2-10) of Luke 19, the Lord had met the tax collector Zacchaeus who sought to see him. Though reputed as a sinful man, Jesus followed him to his house. Zacchaeus overwhelmed with the presence of Jesus in his house, expresses repentanc...
