Exposing False Ministrations/Presentations In The Church Today.
Nothing exposes false ministers and ministrations like the scriptures of truth. It is in the light of the truth of God's word, that all things are revealed the way they are; for the word of God is quick/living and powerful/operative, sharper than any double edged sword, and pierces to the dividing/cleaving asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow. It is a discerner(fit for judging/skilled in judging), the thoughts and intents of the heart. There is no creature hid or not manifest in his sight, for all things lie bare, naked, exposed and open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:12-13.
I watched a video of a ministration by David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, in his just concluded 5 nights of glory. He made preposterous claims, that God spoke to him saying "My Son, anything you say now, i will do it"; then he went on to make these ridiculous words of blasphemy: "And he told me something now that is very...(indistinct word sounded like 'supre' said' )...tell them to sleep and not wake, and they will never wake. Now listen, listen, am talking about the HolySpirit. Now hear me, i will demonstrate his ministry practical right now. Young boy come, if a believer cannot wake up, then when i tell a native, a witch doctor to sleep, he will not wake up. Come, come and hold him, HolySpirit am talking about you, young boy sleep" (the young man fell down instantly), he continued "leave him, now do everything to wake this boy, kick him, do anything, he will never wake, he will never wake, do anything, do anything to wake him, he won't wake. Now listen, at my voice he will wake. Now by the anointing of the HolyGhost in Jesus name wake up, wake up in Jesus name" (the young boy/man got up immediately and the gullible congregation shouted and clapped their hands). The demonstration by David Ibiyeomie is either stage managed(a false presentation) to promote a lying spirit/false claim, or a manifestation powered by a false spirit. Whichever way, it is false and not of God. To sleep and never wake up is death. Ibiyeomie is claiming to have been given power by God to induce the sleep of death upon men, even on 'believers' in Christ, such that they can never wake except at his voice. This is outright blasphemy and necromancy, and clearly not a manifestation of the Spirit of God. Necromancy is a divination involving death; to call up the dead, whether as literally dead or as having first induced death upon them. In Acts 8, we see Simon who used sorcery/necromancy in his ministrations, to bewitch the entire city of Samaria, just like the aforementioned minister has bewitched the city of Port-harcourt, Nigeria. Acts 8:9-10 "But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries." Note: The emphasis/point Ibiyeomie was out to make in his assertion and demonstration, is that he is a great man of God; the same impression/point scored by Simon in Samaria. The demonstration was to promote his own glory and not the glory of God.
